The pursuit to find the brand's own identity is a perennial venture that is cultivated with every product iteration. In 2018 a unique design code was set in motion defining the brand’s unique selling proposition.
The original design is defined by simplistic features and pure expression. The unique conical rotating bezel does not have distinguishable markers emphasizing the perennial philosophy behind the brand.
To better fit our conventional spacetime, the original design went rogue and further adjustments were implemented in order to improve its functionality and maneuverability.
Furthermore, the duality between the ethereal and conventional aspects of the design code was revealed with the introduction of the Regia collection.
The Regia design code is the ultimate expression of duality. From its monochrome execution to the matte and polished case finishing as well as the straight and circular knurling, the Regia LE Dark watch is the embodiment of duality.
The Swiss Made, rugged and refined, adventure ready watch is inspired by one of the most precise ancient calendars, the Sarmizegetusa Regia calendar.
The Sarmizegetusa Regia calendar is an ancient calendar system used by the dacians in Transylvania. The calendar was based on a lunar-solar cycle, combining the phases of the moon with the movement of the sun.
The Regia Eclipse collection gets its name from the astral phenomena known as eclipse. An eclipse occurs when one celestial object, like the Moon or Earth, blocks the light from another, like the Sun.
To emphasize the main function of the dacian calendar, the date is positioned at 12 o'clock and is being eclipsed by a circular index on the bezel while the calendar is subtly represented in a form of a circle embodying the last essential element required for an eclipse.
The calendar’s representation on the dial is mirrored on the caseback and it is the depiction of the Earth in relation to the Moon represented by the date window and the Sun by the diver’s index.
Powered by a Sellita SW200-1 In-house regulated automatic movement and encased in a bead-blasted and hand polished 39mm Black DLC Stainless Steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel and 200m/660ft of water resistance ensured by the screw-down crown, the perennial product is hand-built in Switzerland.
