Inspired by a Legend

A black and silver wristwatch with a black dial and white markings, displaying the time as approximately 8:12:38, with the brand name 'Tornek-Rayville' and water resistance details.

The Nera watch originates from a declassified undisclosed abandoned Tornek-Rayville tribute project gone rogue. The Tornek Rayville TR-900 diver’s watch from the 60's is one of the rarest diver’s watch ever made. It was made for the US Navy’s Experimental Diving Unit, a unit that would later become known as the Navy SEAL’s. Only around 1,000 pieces were made, and most were subsequently destroyed because the watch was using a radioactive element. Only 30 or less are still existing today.

Unique Identity

Despite the TR-900 memorial watch overhaul, the result is a distinctive hand built Swiss watch with unique features. The fluted conical rotating bezel is a singularity in the watchmaking industry offering supreme grip and maneuverability while the automatic, in-house regulated movement provides reliability in extreme conditions and up to 200m/660ft under water.

Devil in the details

A small turquoise pond surrounded by green trees and moss-covered rocks in a forest.

The perennial timepiece is inspired by the Devil's Lake located in the Nera gorges in Transylvania

In-House Hand Built

Every perennial watch is hand built in Switzerland by certified watchmakers using only first class materials. After the assembly process is concluded the watches are thoroughly tested in order to fit the rigorous Swiss quality standards

The Nera Rogue features a Swiss Made Automatic movement Sellita SW200 with 28,800 BPH or 8 beats per second (4 Hz) and a Power Reserve of 38 hours. 26 jewel self-winding movement with Anti-shock system. In house regulated

Swiss Automatic Movement

SuperLumiNova® BGW9

Close-up of a Peren automatic wristwatch showing the time as 9:10 and the date as the 29th.

Among the range of Super-LumiNova® colours, BGW9 is one of the best superluminova out there topped only by C3. Given their similar brightness, the applications between C3 and BGW9 are generally limited to their aesthetic

Supreme Grip

The shape of the bezel and the hand made knurling on the side of the bezel, offers supreme grip and maneuverability of the unidirectional rotating bezel in every situation

Screw Down Crown

The Screw Down Crown creates a seal when the crown locks with the cases internal threads and gaskets, fastening it into place securely
